Step 1 of 4

Context

I worked on Stake’s multi-currency withdrawal experience, helping investors move funds into international bank accounts.

International withdrawals introduced complexity that the domestic flow never had to handle:

  • 01Two currencies
  • 02Changing exchange rates
  • 03Fees
  • 04Expiry states
  • 05Market availability

The challenge was exposing enough financial detail to build trust without turning a simple withdrawal into a trading interface.

Step 2 of 4

From PM conversation to prototype in hours

Before a PRD existed, I used an early conversation with the PM to start shaping the experience. Granola captured the discussion, then my Product & Design Copilot GPT turned those notes into structured design requirements I could prototype from straight away.

  1. A conversation with the PM

    Before a PRD existed.

  2. Granola

    Captured the discussion.

  3. Product & Design Copilot GPT

Turned the notes into structured design requirements.

  4. Magic Patterns, Figma Make and Claude

Working concepts to review with the PM, within hours.

Using that requirements document as context, I explored the withdrawal flow across Magic Patterns, Figma Make and Claude. Within hours I had working concepts to review with the PM, before the formal PRD had been written. This:

  • made the proposed flow tangible much earlier
  • surfaced questions before requirements were locked
  • helped Product and Design align on interaction logic
  • accelerated the move from discussion to product definition

Step 3 of 4

Designing the withdrawal flow for trust

Once we aligned on the direction, I refined the experience around the moments where users needed the most certainty:

  1. 1The exchange rate
  2. 2The fees
  3. 3The amount they would receive
  4. 4The transfer timing

Outcome

Launched with

  • EUR
  • GBP
  • SAR

The international withdrawal experience launched with EUR, GBP and SAR, with the flow designed to support additional currencies over time. It was one of my final projects at Stake.

  • Earlier alignment

Prototypes gave Product and Design something tangible to align on before requirements were final.

  • Clearer decisions

Rates, fees and market edge cases surfaced earlier.

  • Transparent experience

Users could see what they were sending, what they would receive and when it would arrive.
