The platform had been built primarily around functionality, resulting in a dense interface, inconsistent patterns and limited understanding of what users needed. I interviewed five users, audited the experience and ran heuristic and competitor analysis to identify the highest-value journeys.

Within four weeks, I translated the research into a new information architecture, visual language and high-fidelity experience, simplifying portfolio management, global search, filtering and interaction patterns.

Testing showed the redesign was easier to understand and navigate, with a strong preference for the new visual direction, and it gave Altares a foundation for future product development.
